DNA IS A TOOL — NOT AN IDENTITY.
Genetic research can support genealogical questions and help identify biological relationships. Genetic ancestry estimates are statistical estimates based on available reference populations and can change as datasets and methods develop.
DNA does not replace family history, cultural experience, oral testimony, historical documentation, or community relationships.
Tribal Nations determine their own citizenship or membership under their own laws and governing authority.
Apache Bronco does not determine tribal citizenship and does not present genetic ancestry as proof of tribal citizenship, cultural identity, or sovereignty.
