This early-access version is available here on our official website. It is not available on Google Play. Internet access is needed to view the live website.
Version 7.3 · 214 KiB · Android 8.0 or newer. Device and regional installation rules still apply. The APK will not install on an iPhone or iPad.
This build is still in development and includes draft app policies. Review the in-app notices before you agree to use it.
Install on Android
A FEW STEPS TO GET STARTED.
Open this page in the browser on your Android phone. Button names may differ by phone and Android version.
Download the APK.
Tap DOWNLOAD ANDROID APK above. Confirm the download only when you are on ApacheBronco.com and the file is the Apache Bronco installer you chose.
Open the downloaded file.
Use your browser’s download notification, or open Files → Downloads and select Apache-Bronco-Mobile-V7.3.apk.
Allow this installation source when prompted.
If Android asks for permission to install unknown apps, open the settings it offers. Enable Allow from this source only for the browser or Files app you used, then return to the installer.
Review the security message.
Keep Google Play Protect on. Allow a scan when offered. A download or unknown-source notice is not the same as a harmful-app finding. If Android identifies the file as harmful or blocks installation, stop and contact Apache Bronco. Do not bypass a harmful-app warning or your device’s security rules.
Install, open, and finish.
When Android permits the installation, tap Install, then Open. Find Apache Bronco in your app list. Afterwards, turn off Allow from this source for the browser or Files app if you no longer need it.

Before you install
KNOW WHICH FILE YOU ARE GETTING.
The download contains the Apache Bronco 7.3 APK. It is not a Google Play release. A future Google Play release is planned, subject to development, the required account and security steps, and Google Play review. No approval or release date is promised.
This early-access package is separate from the older stable app. It does not replace com.apachebronco.mobile.stable. Keep any existing working installation and its data. Do not uninstall it or clear its data to make this download install.
The file declares internet access as its only Android permission. A signature check confirms file integrity; it is not a guarantee of safety or compatibility on every device. Installation rules can also vary by region and device management.
