Apache Bronco requests three references as part of its membership-review process. References provide additional information that may help evaluate an application responsibly.
Three Reference Types
PROFESSIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL
A professional, organizational, volunteer, or service reference who can speak to your conduct and participation.
FAMILY / CULTURAL / COMMUNITY CONNECTION
A reference able to speak to relevant family, cultural, historical, community, adoption, sponsorship, or service information.
How It Works
ONLY PROVIDE PEOPLE WHO HAVE AGREED TO BE CONTACTED.
Reference information is one component of the complete application record. It does not independently determine Apache Bronco membership, Native identity, tribal citizenship, or tribal enrollment.
Apache Bronco should identify itself when contacting a reference and explain the membership-review purpose of the contact. Reference information should be used only for legitimate organizational membership purposes and handled with appropriate confidentiality.
Reference information is not publicly published merely because a reference participates in the review.
